After more than half a century – since 1968 – the schools of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in Lesotho have decided to revive and re-launch the cooperation that was the hallmark of the educational policy of their charism. Sacred Heart High School (SHHS), Christ the King High School (CKHS), and St. Joseph’s High School came together for this auspicious venture. The purpose is to carry out the foundation charism, vision, and mission of the Christian education more efficiently and effectively.
The three schools met at St. Joseph’s High School in Maseru on Friday 19th May 2023 for this relaunch, marked by games, mingling, and get- to- know you, etc. The staff of the three schools, and their students got to realise that “Together we can. Yes, we can”. The giant has awakened. We look to the future with confidence.
Enormous thanks to my fellow Principals of Christ the King, St. Joseph’s High School, and to the organizing committee for organizing this event at such short notice. It is a positive start. Next year and years to follow we will do better because we have set the ball rolling.
