Principal's Message

My name is Richard Mutebi. Born in Uganda, and a Lesotho Nationalised citizen. I obtained an Honours Degree in Theology, Honours Degree in Curriculum. Thereafter, I went on to acquire a Master’s Degree in Education Management, followed by a Doctorate of Philosophy with a specialisation in Policy Studies in Education. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 20 years and through this time I have been able to rise in the ranks to become the Principal of Sacred Heart High school. My educational experience includes being a teacher, bursar, bandmaster (Zambia), acting Deputy Principal, and Headmaster (Lesotho). 

My passion is to see every student succeed in all areas of their life, cared for by committed and highly qualified teachers while cultivating a love for learning and critical thinking needed to grow and succeed locally and internationally in the 21st century. I believe in the partnership between parents, students, and teachers through continuous and effective communication, as this partnership creates valuable connections to help meet the specific needs of each student.

Our school provides the Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education (LGCSE) Curriculum, using both local and international learning materials to encapsulate the National curriculum. After-school activities and clubs range from music, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, cricket, taekwondo, chess, softball, public speaking and extra different classes.
