High Schools in Leribe had concluded weekends with bruised egos after Sacred Heart High School beat them to qualify for the National Econet Under 17 Soccer Tournament held in Maseru at the National Stadium. Before heading to Maseru, SHHS had beaten Linareng HS, Tsikoane, Leribe English Medium, Makhethisa HS, and Hlotse High School to boost their chances of staying top in the District to qualify and represent the District at the National Econet Under 17 Soccer Tournament held in Maseru to battle with the other districts in the country.
In Maseru, SHHS defeated one school and drew with three other schools in the regulated time, only to be eliminated in the semi-finals after the penalty shootouts. Sacred Heart High School Team brought home a full sports kit and swearing to be reckoned with not only in the District but also at the National level with both Junior and Senior teams in the coming years.
